MacDonald goes undefeated to win second stop on Northwest Women's Pool Association Tour 05/29/2026

Tour Stop #2 was held at The Pocket of Boise in Boise, Idaho on May 23 and 24. Along with some great Idaho players, we had competitors make the trip to Boise from California, Oregon, Washington, and Canada to make for a 29 player field.

Heartfelt thanks to Heather and Wayne Earl and the absolutely incredible team at The Pocket. The food was fantastic, the hospitality second to none, and the pool tables were freshly re-felted (thank you, Dave Lauer!) and playing perfectly! The Pocket is easily one of the best pool rooms we’ve had the pleasure of playing at and we are so very grateful for their support of NWPA and women’s pool.

Congratulations to Kathie Mac MacDonald for a simply stellar performance in this tournament. Kathie was unstoppable in this event, playing near perfect pool to claim the first place prize.

On her birthday, Maryann McConnell earned second place in this tournament. Maryann faced numerous tough competitors in her tournament run and eventually faced off with her road partner, Kathie. Huge congratulations to both Kathie and Maryann for a brilliant performance across the two-day event. Also, big shout out to Jordan Oakes for her 3rd place finish – what a run! We are so excited for you and love to see how your game is growing!
