2020 Season Cancelled

With great regret, we want to share our decision to cancel the 2020 Downtown Sailing Series. The health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance. With all the uncertainty surrounding gatherings, of any size, we felt it was necessary to make this determination. We remain hopeful that we can still celebrate the Rutten Cup in late August with a special event, but like everything, that is also uncertain. The foundation of the Downtown Sailing Series is our enthusiastic participants and tremendous sponsors. We are so appreciative of your unwavering support and look forward to a time when we can all celebrate on Thursday evenings again!

What a year it was for Year 15 of the Downtown Sailing Series! We enjoyed every bit of it and hoped you did as well. We can't do it without all the sponsors, staff, and most importantly the sailors and crew, thank you all for making it a great season!

The Downtown Sailing Series is back from a week off. This week's sponsor is Fisheries Supply and we all know they bring some of the best prize bags of the season. You won't want to miss this Thursday, temperatures expected to be in the 80s!

The season kicks off this Saturday, June 9th here at Elliott Bay Marina. Remember that we do have brand new race numbers this year. If you have yet to get a new one stop by the office and we can get you all registered!
