Key West Girls Weightlifting has another STATE QUALIFIER!!!
Senior and Co-Captain Dazmine Jenkins (second from left) has qualified to compete at the state championships in the Olympic division.
Dazmine missed qualifying last year by one spot! She came back stronger this season and qualified in the top 10 in the state by hitting 2 personal record lifts at regionals!

Hey!
This is a BIG DEAL!
Congratulations to senior and Co-Captain .thene for finishing 7th in the state of Florida for Olympic Weightlifting!
Val also finished 9th in the state for traditional weightlifting!
We are all very proud of her! She worked hard this season, got stronger, established new PRs and represented our little island team so well at the state championships!
Val qualified to compete at States in 2 different divisions! Val and our team only train and compete during the school’s winter season. The girls she was competing against train and compete all year round.
Val sowed up, tried her best and represented well for all of us Key West Conchs!
