Sophlow Yoga, Surf, and Massage

Did you know that Miss Sophlow, after a year long hiatus from teaching yoga, is back?! You can attend traditional Hatha Yoga class every Thursday night at 6 pm. Classes are donation/barter based, hosted at a private location. Surf camp is on at Sebastian Inlet Surf & Sport and the stoke was high this week with perfect little waves on a shallow sandbar. The forecast for next week is looking similar. We love mellow Florida summer time waves for familiarizing beginners in the crystalline waters of our beloved East Coast!

Tired of letting your kids have all the fun at summer camp?!? Join Chica Weekend June 19-21st for a weekend filled with surfing and sisterhood. We will play like we are 12 years old again. Doesn’t matter your experience, your age or your shape! Surfing is for EVERYONE.

Cruising into summer like 🌞💕🏄‍♀️

It’s that time of the year🥳🥳

I’ve been a part of these surf camps since 2018! The incredible gift of watching children learn to interact with one another and the ocean, catch and ride waves, as well as gain confidence through a new skill is what keeps me coming back year after year. Story time!

The Sophlow logo was inspired (obviously) by the balance of yin and yang. The ocean has always symbolized this fierce, devouring strength that somehow is simultaneously capable of delicately cradling our own water bodies.

So Ashley and I are sitting on the floor of this beautiful new space and giggling like school children in disbelief that this will be the new Sophlow Yoga Studio. My first studio was a room I rented with a collective of women in the healing arts, but that is a story for another time! I tell my dear friend and now fellow yoga teacher I need not introduce to the tribe, , hey can you draw some mock ups of a potential logo for the business? Full creative freedom, no pressures, simple playfulness shared between two visionaries, one with a far more capable hand! She sketches a few little doodles and immediately we knew this yin yang wave was the one.

Her little 1/2 inch pencil sketch was then sent to to give it the masters touch it needed. Jorge is an incredible, multifaceted artist who is behind many of the breathtaking surfboards that are displayed in Sophlow 3.0, including the main Sophlow Yoga board that became the teacher backdrop and somewhat of a hearth in the main room. The journey did not stop there! She was then digitalized by and the transformation into the little jpeg i click on 100 times a day was complete. She’s the perfect mascot I’ll never take for granted.

With that I leave you with a few more visions of mine that were turned into real designs and wearable art by the one and only Serena of . This allows you to support and advertise a company that will never settle for Artificially generated junk and will never compromise quality for convenience. There’s a story behind every single one.

Nowadays it may not take a village, but isn’t it so much richer when you involve one anyways?! So grateful for the many hands who have helped shape the brand we all know and love. And did she say something about Sophlow 3.0? Hmmm🧐
