Attention Bottom Grind Friends 📣

The Old Fish House Bar & Grill Bottom Grind was created for the anglers.

With that in mind and as this tournament continues to grow, we’ve decided to move to an invitational format for 2026, with spots limited to 65 boats.

This change isn’t about excluding people — it’s about protecting what makes this tournament special: a competitive, angler-focused event built around those who truly love this style of fishing.

The Bottom Grind has always been about the crews, the competition, and the camaraderie, creating a tournament that fishermen are proud to be part of.

Moving to an invitational allows us to keep that vision intact and continue building something that feels earned, respected, and true to the heart of the event.

The Old Fish House Bottom Grind team is incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this tournament over the years. You've helped it become something truly special, and we’re committed to continuing to build it with the anglers in mind.

Keep watching our social media pages; the Captain’s Meeting, weigh-in, and Awards Dinner details will be announced once FWC releases the 2026 red snapper season dates.
