This Fourth of July, we celebrate 250 years of courage, sacrifice, freedom, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we also pause to honor the brave men and women—past and present—who have defended the liberties we enjoy every day. We are especially grateful to the law enforcement officers, first responders, military members, and their K-9 partners who continue to serve and protect our communities with unwavering dedication.

Tomorrow, July 2 at Noon, you are invited to stand with us for the unveiling of the America250 Mural at Melbourne Square Mall- a powerful tribute to our nation’s history, the freedoms we cherish, and the brave individuals who continue to defend and strengthen our country.

We are honored to recognize the remarkable work of Corporal Lance Behringer, whose dedication and artistic vision have brought this mural to life. His creation stands as a lasting symbol of patriotism, sacrifice, and American pride.

Meet Corporal Lance Behringer and join representatives from every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, American Legion Post 420, and the Daughters of the American Revolution of Brevard for this inspiring ribbon-cutting ceremony.

If you have a worn or tattered American flag, we encourage you to bring it with you.
American Legion Post 420 will ensure each flag is retired with the dignity and honor it deserves.

This is more than a mural unveiling—it is a moment to come together as Americans, to honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward with pride and unity toward the next 250 years.

Right now, search and rescue K-9 teams from around the world are working alongside first responders in Venezuela, searching through collapsed buildings in hopes of finding survivors after the devastating earthquakes. These incredible teams rely on specialized equipment to do their jobs safely and effectively. International teams have deployed dozens of canine teams equipped for urban search and rescue operations.

From tracking harnesses, GPS systems, protective boots, cooling vests, first aid kits, lighting equipment, search cameras, listening devices, and transport kennels, every piece of equipment helps keep both the handler and K-9 safe while they work in dangerous and unpredictable conditions.

Whether responding to natural disasters, searching for missing children, locating lost hikers, or assisting after hurricanes and building collapses, these highly trained K-9 teams are always ready to answer the call.

Your support helps provide mission-critical equipment that many law enforcement and first responder K-9 teams simply don’t have the budget to purchase.
