Four more legendary names. Four remarkable Sebring stories.
This week, we’re looking back at the achievements of Derek Daly, Phil Hill, Bruce Jennings and Sascha Maassen—four members of the inaugural Sebring International Raceway Class of 75.
🔹 DEREK DALY
Daly made only three appearances at Sebring, yet never finished lower than second overall. His remarkable record included back-to-back overall victories in 1990 and 1991.
🔹 PHIL HILL
Before becoming America’s first Formula One World Champion, Hill built a legendary Sebring résumé. Across 13 starts, he captured three overall victories and three class wins—all behind the wheel of Ferrari machinery.
🔹 BRUCE JENNINGS
A fixture of Sebring’s early decades, Jennings competed in 18 editions of the race spanning nearly 20 years. His endurance and longevity remain among the most impressive in event history.
🔹 SASCHA MAASSEN
Few drivers mastered their class at Sebring like Maassen. Across 13 starts, the Porsche ace earned five class victories—including four consecutive wins from 2001 through 2004.
