A few of his many accolades include modernizing the Frisbee, inventing the basket, founding the PDGA, and laying the concrete foundation for everything our sport continues to build on. His vision transformed a flying toy into a sport played across the globe — and every round played today carries on his legacy.

As the Professional Disc Golf Association celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re looking back at the players and organizers who helped shape the world of professional disc golf. From its grassroots beginnings in 1976 to the next generation of competitors and fans, is a celebration of the sport’s past, present, and future.

Sebring municipal course in rough shape After a group of five golfers finished their round Tuesday at the Sebring Golf Club (municipal golf course) they were all in agreement that the course is in poor condition.
