We are so ready to rip the covers off our race cars for two days of race schools at Mid-Ohio in just two weeks! The only question is whether you will be there with us to pursue your journey in motorsports. Hope to see you there!

Four straight days of racing schools and four race events are in the books! National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park once again delivered tremendous racing action. Thank you NCM Motorsports Park !!

In the first race, John Antonino fended off a fast approaching Danny O’Gara to claim race victory as the pair gapped the field by 20 seconds.

In race two, Antonino once again claimed victory but the top-6 drivers learned their lesson and kept the leader within reach.

In the third race Danny O’Gara was able to hold the field at bay until a late yellow neutralized the race, cementing his victory.

The fourth and final race of the NCM event was a thriller with the top three drivers coming over the line in under 0.05” apart with Indy Andersen claiming the tight victory over Danny O’Gara and John Antonino who finished second and third respectively.

With race drops now factored in, the championship is looking tight amongst the top three drivers. John Antonino has a narrow one point lead over Danny O’Gara and twelve point lead over Indy Andersen.

It’s a similarly tight battle amongst the Masters group, with Donnie Steele holding a 13 point lead over Alex Hawley and a 15 point lead over Robert Perlmutter.

A huge thank you to all of our racers who put on a great show this week and delivered spectacular wheel-to-wheel racing. We’ll look forward to seeing everyone at Mid-Ohio in September. And for those aspiring racers, it’s not too late to join our race schools in early-September!

Just an appreciation post for our students and racers who drove VIR Full Course with us in July. So many more iconic tracks to come this summer and fall as we prepare to visit NCM next week, Mid-Ohio in September, and Sebring in October 🤩

We’re just two weeks away from kicking off our Race Schools at National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY. There’s still time to get signed up to learn how to drive our formula cars at one of the country’s newest tracks! Don’t miss your chance to drive this AWESOME circuit!

For those that ask how well do our cars race – the top-7 drivers in Race 1 at VIR finished within 1.4 seconds of each other, and in Race 2 the top-6 finished within 0.5 seconds of each other. While the weather denied us a third race, the first two races delivered 30-minutes of good, hard, and clean green flag racing – racing that we are excited to carry onward to National Corvette Museum Motorsport Park next month!

A hearty welcome to our new racers, Mark Jennes Jr. and Michael Fagen, both of whom were making their inaugural race appearances in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series.

First up are our Basic, BasicPLUS, and Advanced Racing Schools August 10th and 11th on NCM’s West Course. Then stay for another two days as we begin round three of our Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series and open up the entire track to race FULL Course NCM! 🏁

The ideals set forth 250 years ago continue to inspire us today—not only in the pursuit of excellence on the racetrack, but in every opportunity we’re fortunate enough to pursue.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we reflect with gratitude on those who came before us, appreciation for those who continue to serve our nation and our communities, and optimism for the generations who will carry the torch forward.

The destinations are different. The starting line was the same.

Looking across this collage, we don’t just see alumni—we see friends, teammates, competitors, champions, coaches, and professionals who all took that same first step with us.

Today, you’ll find Lucas Oil School of Racing graduates leading championships, winning races, standing atop podiums, and competing across nearly every corner of professional motorsport. From the IndyCar ladder to IMSA, Porsche Carrera Cup, GT racing, NASCAR, Trans Am, Formula Regional, European championships and beyond.

They’ve raced at Indianapolis. Le Mans. Spa. Nürburgring Nordschleife. Monza. Silverstone. Interlagos.

Many now compete alongside the very instructors who once taught them.
Others have come full circle—returning as Lucas instructors and driver coaches to help develop the next generation.

That may be what makes us proudest of all.

Every driver’s journey is different. Every path is unique.

But every one of them started by taking the same first step.

To every driver pictured here—and to the many more whose stories couldn’t fit in a single graphic—thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.

We couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve accomplished.

The next name on this collage hasn’t started their career yet.

Maybe they’re reading this today.

Every driver featured here has a different story.

Different teams.
Different countries.
Different championships.

But every one of them had one thing in common...

They took the first step.

We can’t wait to see who earns a place on the next version.
