while hiking a larger canyon we decided to explore a tiny side draw and were rewarded with this great little site

While exploring a narrow chute high on a remote butte we discovered this excellent ruin, the people who lived here created level ground by constructing retaining walls and back filling with soil forming terraces to build upon, numerous artifacts littered the site including unusual embossed potsherds, tool flakes, bones and a small shell bead, as usual we cataloged the site and were very careful to leave this treasure just as we found it.
