Additional info: for those who are coming, this is the Senior Games, so there are a variety of sporting events going on starting July 24-August 4. It’s like Olympics for the old people! Ha! For schedule of events and info go to

National Senior Games Association – Long Live the Challenge The NSGA is a non-profit organization dedicated to motivating active adults to lead a healthy lifestyle through the senior games movement.

We were invited to play in a friendly team round robin today at Kissing Tree Pickleball Complex. We put together a team consisting of us, Christina Amaro and Dean Colley. We came… We played… We won! So much fun! It was a great warmup for us preparing for the National Senior Games, which is a week from today.

Thanks Joe Nicola for thinking of us. It was a lot of fun. And thanks to everyone who showed up to play. Hope to see you all again soon.

Now time to start preparing and packing for next week. We are excited and ready. LET’S GOOOO PD PICKLEBALL!

We have been asked by many if we intend to Live Stream our games we play at the National Senior Games. The answer is yes, we do. But we will live stream our games in our PD Pickleball Private Group. We have a much bigger following in the group than we do on this page. We play in July 27,28,29 and 30th. Hopefully we can live stream the games for those who can't make it up, or down, to watch. I know we will see many of our friends and family there. It's going to be a lot of fun!

I know some of the stuff is expensive, but if you do buy, know that we do get a percentage and we will put toward our trip in July. The National Senior Games are approaching rapidly. As we prepare for our third NSG Tournament, we believe that we are better prepared, both physically and mentally, than we were in our last two appearances. We have had some great coaching over the past couple of years with Danny Cuevas and Hector Zamora IV, who have both taught us so much.

In any National Tournament, only the best of the best show up and we are happy, proud and excited to be going once again. We have high expectations this year and look forward to the challenge. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

We know our family and friends will be there to support and cheer us on. There is nothing better than having our support group there with us.

We got our new hats in today! I think they look great. Waiting on our new shirts to come in and we will be looking stylish.

Can hardly wait to see you all in Des Moines in a few weeks.

I had to go to Wimberley today for a doctors appointment. Decided I would stop by our storage and pick up a few things. When I passed by the fire department. I saw the firefighters out playing pickleball. Decided I would stop. Got to visit with my old friend Chief Czichos and several of his firefighters. Even got to play a few games! It was a lot of fun and so happy to see the firefighters playing this fun game! We will have to do it again soon.
