This class is designed for those who want a low impact, whole body aerobic workout without strain on your joints and back. Water aerobics is a great combination of fun and exercise. Exercises will be modified depending on your level of fitness. No swimming ability is required.

Volleyball Setting/Hitting:
August 22nd 2026
Grades 1-4 8am-10am | Grades 5-8 10am-12pm | Cost is $20/participant
This is a one (1) day clinic. The goal of this recreational co-ed youth volleyball setting/hitting clinic is for those in grades 1 to 8 to be given the opportunity to establish hitting fundamentals, consistent hand position, body positioning for accuracy, and basic hitting approach footwork to generate power. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn setting fundamentals such as transfer of body weight, creating a diamond and to push up from your hips all the way through to your fingertips with a soft touch.
This one (1) day clinic will take place at the OUTDOOR COURTS at the Seguin Volleyball Complex located at 950 S Austin Street in Seguin, Texas. The courts at this complex are clay. No inclement weather date is set for this clinic. This clinic will be held, rain or shine, just not in threatening weather.

The goal of this recreational co-ed youth volleyball serving clinic is for those in grades 1 to 8 to be given the opportunity to establish fundamental, consistent serving techniques—both underhand and overhand—while building confidence, accuracy, and proper mechanics, such as a firm hand, consistent toss, and high elbow.
This one (1) day clinic will take place at the OUTDOOR COURTS at the Seguin Volleyball Complex located at 950 S Austin Street in Seguin, Texas. The courts at this complex are clay. No Wave Swim Days (Calm Water) are back again at the Seguin Wave Pool located at 1 Wave Pool Drive in Seguin, Texas. Select Wednesdays in June and July from 9:30am - 11:30am, $3 per person for those age 4 and older. Come enjoy the calm waters!

Fireworks blast off at 9:30 pm Friday, July 3 in areas around Max Starcke Park.

Due the saturated grounds and anticipated inclement weather, the Movie in the Park at Park West (Cars) scheduled for Friday, June 5 will be rescheduled on Friday, June 26 at dusk at Max Starcke Park East near the Kids Kingdom Playscape.

Volleyball Fundamentals:
June 16th
Grades 1-4 8am-10am | Grades 5-8 10am-12pm | Cost is $20/participant
This is a one (1) day clinic. The goal of this recreational co-ed youth volleyball clinic is for those in grades 1 to 8 to be given the opportunity to focus on fundamentals and skill training through group drills and games. Athletes will be introduced to passing, serving, setting, attacking the ball, while learning teamwork and sportsmanship. Each clinic will conclude with a short scrimmage.

Volleyball Passing:
July 14th
Grades 1-4 8am-10am | Grades 5-8 10am-12pm | Cost is $20/participant
This is a one (1) day clinic. The goal of this recreational co-ed youth volleyball passing clinic is for those in grades 1 to 8 to be given the opportunity to establish fundamental forearm passing techniques, focusing on proper body positioning, platform development, and consistent ball control to target. Clinics aim to build confidence in movement, introduce defensive stances, and teach young players how to effectively pass serves or free balls to a setter.

Join us for a Junior Lifeguard Class at the Seguin Wave Pool! Junior Lifeguard participants will learn basic first-aid, CPR, water safety, and rescue techniques. Participants will also learn communication and decision-making skills and an understanding of lifeguard responsibilities. Participants will engage in both classroom learning and in-water activities.

This class does not certify participants in the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course or CPR/First-Aid/AED.

Requirements:
Participants must be able to swim. Participants must be able to complete a Swim-Tread-Swim Sequence without stopping. 25-yard freestyle swim - 1 minute tread or float- 25-yard freestyle swim

*This is NOT a learn-to-swim program*

Participants must bring:

Sunglasses

Towel

Water

Hat

Cold Sack Lunch (no microwave available)
