Firecrackers CCT Lopez would like to thank Tony Rico and the Firecrackers Organization for the opportunities we have had over the past 3 years! We are excited to announce that we will be transitioning to Texas Glory and being led and mentored by Kevin Shelton and his organization effective immediately.
2017 is our first year having players of age to commit. We have had 100% of our players graduating commit to play college softball with a total of 5 players including this years graduating seniors all to D2, D3 and NAIA and several younger players in conversations for commitment all within the past year. 2017 has been a very exciting year seeing all of these girls taking their dream of playing softball to the next level and making it a reality with all of their hard work and commitment. We are looking forward to great things over the years to come with Texas Glory and it is our honor to make this announcement!!

Firecrackers placed 4th at Senior Summer Nationals Showcase Tourney Premier Bracket this weekend in College Station. They showcased their skills very well! Was told by colleges watching, they really enjoyed watching the girls play & would be watching a lot more of them over the years and requested schedules and videos! Proud of all the great offensive and defensive things that happened on the field, but more importantly the maturity and leadership this group is demonstrating! Can't wait to see where these girls go! Here are a few pics from the weekend and a video of that walk off win last night against Mizuno Elite that left us all pretty excited!

Firecrackers 18U participated in a warmup tourney this past weekend in McAllen and placed 1st place and brought home some cash!! Getting us ready for showcases!

Firecrackers CCT Lopez families are traveling to New Orleans, LA today for the Big Easy College Showcase! Prayers for safe travels to all our families and praying the girls will be presented with opportunities that will open doors for their futures at the next level! Firecrackers from all over South Texas came together on Sunday for batting and fielding 4 hour practice and worked hard all day!

Firecrackers closed out their annual fundraiser last night with the drawing of the 3 winners for the guns. Here is a video and snapshot of the winning tickets. Congratulations to winners - Sophie sold 2 of the winning tickets in Laredo and Kaylle & Kiersten sold the other winning ticket to their mom! Thank you to everyone that helped the girls sell tickets and purchased tickets, we appreciate your support!!
