YOU WERE BORN WORTHY.
WHY DID GOLF MAKE YOU FEEL OTHERWISE?
Think about a newborn baby.
They haven’t accomplished anything.
They haven’t shot a good score.
They haven’t earned a promotion.
They haven’t proven themselves.
And yet, they’re loved, celebrated, and valued simply because they exist.
Somewhere along the way, adults start believing:
“I’ll be good enough when…”
When I shoot lower scores.
When I hit the ball better.
When I stop making mistakes.
When I become more successful.
And golf can make this even worse.
One bad round → “I’m terrible.”
One bad shot → “I can’t play.”
A missed putt → “I always choke.”
But here’s the truth:
A bad golf shot doesn’t make you a bad golfer.
And your golf score doesn’t determine your worth.
Your job as a golfer isn’t to prove that you’re good enough.
It’s to give yourself permission to learn, make mistakes, adjust, and keep improving.
Separate your performance from your identity.
You are already enough.
Now go play golf like someone who believes it. 🏌️♂️
