Bombers Fastpitch Nation, please join us in welcoming our newest addition to the coaching staff, All-American and recently crowned 2026 NFCA National Pitcher of the Year, Coach Jayden Sawyer!

Coach Jayden joins Bomber Nation after an extraordinary collegiate playing career that established her as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in the country. She began her career at Jones College, where she became one of the most decorated players in program history. During her time with the Bobcats, Sawyer was a two-time NJCAA All-American, NFCA First Team All-American, NFCA All-South Region selection, NJCAA All-Region 23 honoree, and a two-time All-MACCC selection. She was also named the Most Valuable Pitcher of the NJCAA World Series and cemented her legacy as the program’s single-season and career home run record holder.

Following her standout junior college career, Coach Jayden continued her success at William Carey University, where she quickly emerged as one of the nation’s premier players. She earned NFCA National Pitcher of the Year honors while also being named an NFCA First Team All-American, NAIA First Team All-American, NFCA First Team All-Region, SSAC Pitcher of the Year, SSAC Co-Player of the Year, SSAC Newcomer of the Year, SSAC First Team All-Conference, and a member of the SSAC All-Tournament Team.

Coach Jayden’s competitive spirit, championship mindset, and passion for developing student-athletes make her an incredible addition to our program. We are excited for our players to learn from someone who has competed and excelled at the highest levels of collegiate softball.

It was a hot humid weekend for our first weekend back, but the girls did not disappoint. They ended up going 5-1 and undefeated through bracket play. It was a complete team effort and these Bombers finished the weekend with a team batting average of .445 and a team fielding percentage of .919. It was a blast being back on the field with these young ladies and I look forward to our next outing. Go Bombers Fastpitch!!!

#5 Mollie Linder 2028 C/3rd with a bomb to left center over the 215’ sign in her fist at bat of the season. Way to go Mollie!!

First time back together in 7 months and we had some rust to knock off, but the girls finished the day on a good note. The girls went 3-1 today and undefeated through bracket play. Back at it tomorrow at 10:30. Go Bombers Fastpitch!!!
