To the grads 🎓 and those divorcing, a little love letter:

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Just stop and think about that.

Although this is true every day, today it seems more poignant. It’s graduation night at my local high school, and a hundred eager young people will be closing one chapter and turning to the blank page of a new one.

My divorcing friends and clients know this feeling very well.

Many face the blank page with uncertainty at best, and dread at worst.

Usually, it’s the financial blank that is most worrisome.

That’s where I come in, as a financially focused divorce coach who provides clarity on your new reality, as well as what’s possible.

I just sent this image to a brand new client who made her decision today to include me on her divorce preparation team. I’m beyond excited to work with her, before she even announces to her spouse that she’s contemplating this change.

Today is indeed a memorable first day.

May the high school graduates — and YOU as well — look back on today and be glad for the choices you made.

In the dark about divorce, and what to expect?

When a client uttered these words on a coaching call last week, she spoke the truth.
