Jasper told me his stifle was sensitive so I paused. He was upset. And showed me. So I paused and went back to try something different.
He is three and took another huge growth spurt. Since I got him as a yearling he has had stuck stifles with each growth spurt. This is the reason I started to learn equine body work. To help him grow without pain. And to release tension.
I do see changes in him through the process and continue to use these techniques on my other horses.
We gain trust and love for each other in each session - even when things like this happen! I am amazed how much these horses love massage time.
