❤️🕊️ ONCE FAMILY, ALWAYS FAMILY 🕊️❤️

This past year has been a tough one for our BMX family here at Chesapeake BMX. We've lost some amazing people, and the truth is, no matter how much time passes, saying goodbye never gets any easier.

We've lost friends, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, riders, and people who were so much more than just familiar faces at the track.

They were FAMILY. ❤️

And when you lose family, a piece of your heart goes with them.

But one thing we've learned over the years is that even though someone may no longer be standing beside us at the fence, sitting in the bleachers, helping at the starting gate, or cheering down the last straight, their memories will always be here.

Their laughter, their smiles, their stories, and the impact they made on so many lives will never be forgotten.

BMX has always been about so much more than racing bikes.

It's about the friendships we build, the families we become, and the memories we make along the way.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the racing, the competition, and the everyday craziness of life that we forget just how precious our time together really is.

So hug your kids a little tighter. Tell your friends you love them. Thank that volunteer. Shake someone's hand. Forgive someone. Make that phone call you've been putting off.

Because tomorrow is never promised.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why they call it the PRESENT. ❤️

From all of us at Chesapeake BMX, our track officials, coaches, and every single volunteer who pours their heart into this place, we want you all to know something.

WE LOVE YOU. ❤️

Whether you've been part of our track for 30 years or just walked through our gates for the first time, you're part of this family.

And family looks out for family.

To everyone who has lost someone they love, please know you're not alone. We're here for you, whether you need a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk to, or just a hug.

And to all the beautiful souls we've lost throughout the years, from our riders and parents to our coaches, volunteers, and friends...

WE MISS YOU. WE LOVE YOU. AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. 🕊️

Your memories will forever live on in the hearts of the people who knew you and in the place that brought us all together.

The gates will continue to drop, the riders will continue to race, and the cheers will continue to echo through Chesapeake BMX.

But a part of every one of you will always be right here with us.

Because once you're part of the Chesapeake BMX family, you're family forever. ❤️

With love,
Your Chesapeake BMX Family ❤️🕊️
