What: Fall Youth Baseball and Softball Registration
Where: Registration available at the Community Center or online
When: Registration period is July 2-August 5, 2026
The Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation will begin accepting youth baseball and softball registration and entry fees for the 2026 Smoky Mountain Youth Baseball (SMYB) Fall season on July 2. The season is scheduled to begin August 24 and end in mid-October.
The registration deadline is August 5. Registration is available online at https://sevierville.recdesk.com/Community/Program. Registration forms and information will also be available at the Sevierville Community Center Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Baseball leagues are open to children 3-12 years old. Girls’ softball is open to ages 9-12 years old. The age date cut off for each age group is May 1, 2026. The registration fee for all ages is $35.00/child ($5.00 discount for each additional child in the same family when registering in person).
An evaluation for all players that register that aren’t already on a team from the Spring season will be held on Saturday, August 8 at Wear Farm City Park. Times for each age group evaluation will be listed in the registration packet.
Due to significant ongoing renovations at Sevierville City Park, the majority of the Fall 2026 season will be played at Wear Farm City Park in Pigeon Forge.

Large Swimming Pool at City Park Reopens Following Repairs
Repairs to a water pump at the Sevierville City Park Family Aquatic Center have been completed, allowing the large swimming pool to reopen at 1:00 p.m. today, July 2, 2026. The Family Aquatic Center will be open regular operating hours through the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

What: Large Swimming Pool at City Park Closed for Water Pump Repair
Where: Sevierville City Park, 1005 Park Road
When: Ongoing
Due to unforeseen emergency repair of a water pump, the large swimming pool at the Family Aquatic Center at Sevierville City Park is currently closed.
The slide pool and splash pad will remain open. Until the large swimming pool reopens, admission will be reduced to $2.00 for children and seniors, and $3.00 for adults.
Weather and other conditions permitting, we hope to have repairs completed this week.

CORRECTION: The greenway parking area will not close until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 19.
What: West Prong Greenway Parking Area Work Scheduled
Where: Hardin Lane at West Main Street
When: Friday, June 19-Saturday, June 20, 2026
The City of Sevierville recently repaved the West Prong Greenway parking area at the corner of Hardin Lane and West Main Street. To complete the project, parking spot lines must be painted onto the new surface.
To facilitate this work, the parking area will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 19-5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20. This work is dependent on favorable weather conditions and may be rescheduled if unfavorable conditions exist.

What: Temporary Closure of Dog Park at Sevierville City Park

Due to scheduled tree work within the dog park at Sevierville City Park, the entire dog park will be closed Monday, June 22 until 12:00 p.m. This work is weather dependent and subject to change if necessary. What: Adult Co-Ed 5-on-5 Basketball League Announced
Where: Sevierville/Pigeon Forge
When: Registration Ongoing
The City of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge Parks and Recreation Departments are partnering to offer a Sevier County adult co-ed 5-on-5 basketball league.
Registration is ongoing until June 19. The league fee is $100.00 per team and each team will have a ten-player roster. Teams may register in person at the Sevierville or Pigeon Forge community centers, or online at https://sevierville.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=5932. Registration is limited to eight teams.
The regular season will begin on June 25, followed by a single elimination tournament that will be held at the Pigeon Forge Community Center.

What: Sevierville Community Center Indoor Pool Summer Hours
Where: 200 Gary Wade Boulevard
When: June 1-September 7, 2026
The Sevierville Community Center will transition to the summer indoor pool schedule beginning June 1, 2026 and continuing through September 7, 2026.
We will remain on our regular schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Summer closures will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

What: Registration Begins For Youth Basketball Clinics
Where: Sevierville Parks and Recreation
When: Thursday, May 21, 2026
The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department will accept registration for a series of youth basketball clinics beginning Thursday, May 21. The first clinic will begin on June 3, 2026. Each clinic includes three sessions. Clinics will offer two age groups, 7-9 years old and 10-12 years old.
The cost of each clinic is $40 per participant, which includes all three sessions. Each clinic is limited to eight participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sessions will be held from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. for the 7-9 year old age group, and from 6:45 p.m.-7:45 p.m. for the 10-12 year old age group.
• June clinic session dates are June 3, 10 and 17. Registration deadline for the June clinic is June 2.
• July clinic session dates are July 1, 8 and 15. Registration deadline for the July clinic is June 30.
