Day 23.
The hardest part of construction might be waiting.
Waiting for approvals.
Waiting for inspections.
Waiting for the next phase to start.
So naturally… the crew decided it was time to hit some golf balls
The facility isn’t open yet, but the excitement is definitely already here. ⛳️
Elite Custom Fitness
Training facility located in Sewickley, PA with an elite team of coaches to support your goals inside and out of the gym. Custom Training and Nutrition
Powerlifting, strength training, sports performance, and more!
Everyone sees the changes happening each day on the property.
Not everyone sees the people making it happen.
Day 22 is for Teddy. The guy who’s been moving mountains so this dream can become reality.
Projects like this aren’t built by one person. They’re built by a team of people who take pride in their work and show up every day ready to get after it.
We’re grateful to have Teddy in our corner.
In both scenarios, Tim is standing in an unfinished space, looking at something that doesn’t exist yet.
Most people see an empty space. He sees possibility.
I’ve watched him do this with Elite Custom Fitness, turning an empty shell into a community that has impacted hundreds of lives. Now he’s doing it again with Elite Golf Performance.
The hours, the stress, the uncertainty, and the countless decisions are rarely what people see. What they do see is the finished product.
These photos are a reminder that every dream starts as an empty space and a vision strong enough to carry it forward.
Happy Father’s Day to the guy who continues to show our girls (and many others) what it looks like to build something meaningful from the ground up.

Day 20 Building a Golf Training Facility in Pittsburgh
update from our youngest project managers:
“We’re building a building.” 🫢
Nailed it.
You know those cinematic drone videos that make everything look incredible?
This is not one of them. 😂
A few weeks ago this was a parking lot.
Today it’s construction equipment, piles of stone, retaining wall materials, inspections, dust, noise, and a growing belief that this thing is actually happening.
One lesson has stood out more than any other:
You’ll hear “no” more times than you can imagine.
No from people who don’t see the vision.
No from people who think it’s too risky.
No from people who genuinely mean well.
Sometimes enough no’s to make you question yourself.
Don’t.
If the dream is worth pursuing, keep showing up. Keep solving problems. Keep taking the next step.
The progress eventually becomes impossible to ignore.

Day 16.
The retaining wall prep continues, but honestly, the excavator stole the show today.
Trees? Gone.
Fences? Gone.
Any sense of mercy? Also gone.
Sir Digs A Lot remains undefeated.
Day 15 of Building a Golf Training Facility in Pittsburgh
This week has been all about checking boxes. ✅
The work might not be flashy, but every item completed gets us one step closer to opening the doors.
This week’s construction checklist:
✔️ Dig out the base for the retaining wall
✔️ Pass base inspection
✔️ Install stone for the wall foundation
✔️ Receive wall materials
🔨 Build the retaining wall
A lot of what goes into building something from the ground up happens before anyone sees the finished product. The foundation work isn’t always exciting, but it’s what everything else depends on.
One item at a time. One week at a time. One step closer to creating a place where golfers can train, improve, and belong.
