We are excited to host our friends at Special Olympics on Saturday! Come out and support them as they showcase their skills!

First round of flag games at 9 am with Special Olympics drills to follow around 10 am.

Flag football players: This event is coming up this Saturday, Sept. 19 at the flag football fields on the north end of the campus of Trinity Lutheran High School in Seymour.

Please be there by 9:30 a.m. and wear your flag football jersey and belt. Bring mouthguard, too. You will be doing drills with the Trinity Youth Football League players and be introduced. They also are giving us a $1,000 donation and taking a group photo.

All players are expected to be there, and other people are invited to the event, too.

We appreciate TYFL for choosing us for Game Day of Giving.

Busy weekend for Trinity football! The Varsity team started off the weekend against Henryville. TYFL then hosted 10 teams from Eastern Indiana Youth Football League, including our own 3/4 and 5/6 teams!

A BIG thank you to all of our TYFL families and athletes for your hard work and effort with this year’s raffle fundraiser! We truly appreciate everyone who has helped make it a success.

This fundraiser plays an important role in helping TYFL provide a great experience for our athletes. The funds raised help support so many areas of our program, including:

• Coaches appreciation gifts and banquet
• Necessary equipment updates and replacements
• Field painting and field maintenance needs
• Insurance and other program expenses
• And our 2026 Game Day of Giving

This year, TYFL is proud to dedicate our Game Day of Giving to Special Olympics Jackson County and make a $1,000 donation in support of their mission.

We believe it is important for our young athletes to learn that being part of a team is about more than what happens on the field. It’s about serving others, giving back, encouraging those around us, and making a positive impact in our community.

Our donation is just one small way TYFL can demonstrate that lesson to our athletes — and it is made possible through the support and participation of our entire TYFL family.

Thank you for supporting TYFL and, more importantly, helping us teach our athletes the importance of giving back.

Last night, we celebrated our Varsity Team’s exciting 27–16 win over Brown County!

It was also a special night as Trinity recognized our TYFL athletes at halftime. Thank you to our Trinity players for being great role models for our athletes 🏈
