Last Summer Camp of 2026!!!☀️🐴 🌺

Horsemanship is showing up for your horse every day and these girls did just that. On the last day of HEAL Summer Camp 2026 we focused on our equine partners and their needs. Not only did the horses enjoy the pampering, but we also got to build mutual trust, respect and a stronger partnership with them!

Horses can teach us so much about ourselves and about life, in and out of the saddle. We just have to be willing to listen! 🫶🏼🏇🏻

Summer Camp 2026: Tie Dye Day 🌀

🫟We had so much fun being creative and getting a little messy while the rain rolled through our area. 🌧️

☀️Once the sun came out, we brought the horses in and spent time with them in the crossties. 🐴

🌤️The weather was clear and the breeze was perfect for some riding! 🏇🏻

🍦We cooled down with ice cream pops, but it was so good that we didn’t stop to take pictures! 🤭

💚Time with friends, horses and the simple joys of life- that’s what makes Summer Camp at HEAL so great! 😊

Summer Camp 2026: Science Day 🦴

🐴“Head, Shoulders, Knees and… Hooves!”
And everything in between…🫀🫁🧠🩻

🩺These participants studied the anatomy of a horse and made their own charts before grooming, tacking and riding! 🏇🏻

💡Learning their different body parts can help us expand our horsemanship skills and communicate better with our equine partners in and out of the saddle! 🫶🏼

📚 After hitting the books, it’s good to wind down with a little snack. And the horse cookies they made were not only delicious, but also anatomically correct! 🐴🍪😋

Summer Camp 2026: Music Day 🎶

We hosted a great group of students last weekend, who were all eager to learn more and took great care of their horses before riding! 🏇🏻
Everyone enjoyed a musical snack at the end, even though the heat had melted our chocolate before we could say, “piano”! 🍫 🎹
