Week 4 is HERE, and we’re back on our HOME FIELD for a full Saturday of Bolts Football & Cheer!

The Trinity Mustangs are coming to Bolt Country for our Jr. Fly, Fly, and Mighty Mite matchups!

Then at 3:00 PM, we welcome the New Port Richey Bucs JV to take on our Bolts JV! 🏴‍☠️⚡️

Tomorrow is about more than four games. It’s our football players, our cheerleaders, our coaches, our volunteers, our families, and our community all showing up for these kids.

So pack the chairs, load up the tent, grab the cowbells and get ready…

Finally...

After days—and what felt like weeks—of discussion, the approved and officially voted-on PAL 2026 Revised Schedule is fresh off the press!

Throughout this process, we carefully considered existing reservations, field availability, and plans already made based on the previous schedule.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we navigated these unexpected changes. Please review the revised schedule carefully and note that Week 10 remains subject to additional matchups or make-up games as needed to balance the season.

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 9/11/2001 🇺🇸

Today, the Nature Coast Bolts Football & Cheer Organization pauses to remember and honor the innocent lives that were taken on September 11, 2001.

They were everyday people who woke up that morning expecting to return home to the people they loved. Their lives mattered. Their stories mattered. And they will never be forgotten.

We remember those who lost their lives in New York City, at the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We remember the families who were left behind and the countless lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We also honor the brave first responders, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, medical personnel, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Today, we remember them all.
Not just the heroes who ran toward danger, but the innocent people who never made it home.

May we never forget the lives lost, the families affected, the courage shown, and the unity that followed.

⚡️ Nature Coast Bolts Statement

We want to address some of the comments and messages we have received regarding our decision to cancel this weekend’s games.

Over the past two weeks, Mother Nature has simply not been on our side. Multiple practices have been canceled or significantly shortened because of severe weather and unsafe field conditions. Unfortunately, we cannot control the rain, lightning, or storms, and we will never put athletes on a field simply to say we practiced.

After looking at the amount of practice our teams have actually been able to complete, our organization made the difficult decision not to play this Saturday.

Let us be very clear: this decision was not about quitting.

There is a significant difference between teaching athletes to push through adversity and asking young athletes to compete when their coaches do not believe they have had adequate time to safely prepare.

We teach our athletes commitment. We teach them perseverance. We teach them to show up, work hard, and finish what they start. We also teach them that football is bigger than a scoreboard, and that good leadership sometimes means making the unpopular decision when it is the right decision for the children entrusted to us.

We were looking forward to playing this weekend. Our athletes were looking forward to playing. Our coaches were looking forward to coaching. Nobody wanted to cancel.

What concerns us most is the lack of acknowledgment that weather has been the driving factor behind our missed practices, something completely outside the control of our athletes, coaches, families, and organization.

We respect that other organizations may have made a different decision under the same circumstances. That is their decision to make for their athletes. This was ours to make for ours.

We will not question another organization’s integrity because they make a decision differently than we would, and we expect the same professional courtesy in return.

At the end of the day, these are youth athletes. Their safety and well-being will always carry more weight than criticism, a Saturday schedule, or a win-loss record.

If protecting our athletes means taking some heat from adults, we can handle the heat.

Our kids come first. Every time. ⚡️
