WE DID IT!!
A NEW modern-era attendance record!!
Over 29,000 fans attended the MBA State Tourney 2026 in Shakopee, New Prague, Jordan, & Chaska over the past 3 weekends!! That’s the highest total since the Twins moved to Minnesota in 1961!!!
Thank you to all who attended, and especially to all who volunteered to work at Joe Schleper Baseball Stadium to help make this possible!!

We already have fans starting to show up for the ball game 1-1/2 hours ahead of game time! Come on up to “The Joe” & enjoy the FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON at 1:00pm today! Help us set a State Tournament attendance record…(We’re getting close!!)! We’re looking at it a near capacity crowd today and the vibe is ALREADY electric!
The Class B State Championship game between the Watertown Red Devils and the Plato Blue Jays!
It’s gonna be a GREAT DAY at Joe Schleper Baseball Stadium in SHAKOPEE!

Class “A” All-Tournament Players from Shakopee:

Congratulations to Jaden Case and Tanner Ho! BOTH had an OUTSTANDING Tournament, and represent the Shakopee Indian’s Baseball Team well!

The Indians went 3-1 in the tournament…just one game shy of the championship game - but with young talent like this, they will be a team to watch next season!!

Something to be very proud of, Shakopee!

Today at the Class A Awards presentation, The Shakopee Indians’ Baseball Team AND FANS were just announced as the recipients of the Class A “JD & JM Brennan” Sportsmanship trophy winners! This award goes out to the team and their fans for showing the best sportsmanship throughout the tournament!

Also, All-Tournament Team Honors went to Jaden Case and Tanner Ho!! Way to go, guys!!

Class B Semi-final at 11:00 this morning, followed by the Class A Championship at 3:00pm TODAY (Sunday, Sept. 6th)!!!

Lost 14-3 in 7 innings after a great run in the state tournament! 3-1 record, and just ONE game away from the Class A State Championship game! Still some great state tourney baseball to be played tonight, tomorrow, and Monday up here at the Joe!!
Come on out and see some great baseball at a great ballpark! Class B semi-final game tomorrow at 11:00am, and Class A Championship game at 3:00 PM.

INDIANS WIN, AGAIN! It’s onto the FINAL FOUR!!
Shakopee Indians will play at 4:00 PM today at Joe Schleper baseball stadium in the semifinal game with a chance to move onto the championship game tomorrow! We need a HUGE crowd coming out today to the Joe for the 4:00 PM ball game to cheer on our Shakopee Indians!
