We are sad to announce that we will be unable to hold a 2023 SYCA season.

We truly miss our wonderful, enthusiastic, cricket loving students and we hope to return in full swing in 2024.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe while enjoying some time going places now that most of the travel restrictions have been lifted.

Unfortunately, we will not be organizing the kids program this year due to some personal committments.

I know kids really look forward to the summer of cricket and we feel really bad for not being able to organize it this year.

We appreciate all the love and support we have received from you and look forward to future seasons.

SYCA 2021 Registration Begins Soon!

Dear Cricket Enthusiasts,

We sincerely hope and pray that you and yours, whether here or back in our home countries, are staying safe and healthy.

We are beyond excited to announce that we WILL be having a season this year. We will begin registrations May 10th!

We will be bringing the enthusiasm to make up for our lost 2020 season, and we know that the students will, too! Our fully vaccinated coaches are already warming up! We will adhere to the COVID guidelines that will be in effect at the time of the clinic, which may or may not mandate the use of masks while the students are playing.

Some FAQs:

Registration Details:

Our Clinics are open to boys and girls ages 5-17.
Clinics are conducted weekends only, with the possibility of a weekday league for interested students, at no additional cost.
Registration is NOT restricted to Sharon residents.
SYCA is a drop-off clinic.
Parents are not required to stay during the sessions. Parents are, however, welcome to participate in the Cricket Mela - the tournaments conducted at the end of the season. Details will be announced towards the end of the season.
Cost:
$20 for your first child. It costs you $1.25 per hour!
$10 per sibling (first child pays in full)
Less than a dollar per child if you have more than one child participating!
Ages 8 and under FREE

How are the clinics conducted?

During coaching, the registrants are split into groups by age and skill level.
Each age group is assigned 1-2 coaches depending on the group size.
The Clinic runs through July and August, weekends only.
The timings of the Clinics are decided once registration is complete.
Please note that siblings may not be assigned the same time slot.

Summer 2020 Season cancelled

Dear SYCA family,

We have been keeping a close eye on Government recommendations for youth sports. Unfortunately, at this point, it does not seem like the recommendations will be relaxed in time for us to have a season this year.

Therefore, in order to keep our SYCA families safe and healthy, we have decided to cancel the SYCA 2020 season.

The admin and coaches are extremely disappointed to have to make this decision, but we feel that it is for the best for everyone.

Please note: In the unlikely event that anything changes in the next couple of weeks, we will still plan on an SYCA 2020 season.

Meanwhile, please do keep the passion for cricket alive in your children by playing at home. Please reach out at [email protected] with any questions or concerns.

Dear SYCA families,

Every year, around this time we would be winding down registrations and getting ready to make teams. Coaches, students and parents alike would be excited for the upcoming season. We had actually been gearing up to brainstorm Spring sessions before the pandemic hit.

As we all know, the current situation is not conducive for us to plan ahead. At this point, we are still hopeful that we will be able to have a season, but since we are not sure, we are not able to start registrations.

We are keeping a close eye on the government recommendations for public gatherings and will start registrations as soon as we know that we can go ahead.

We hope that all of you are staying safe and remaining healthy.
