SPR - Ivy DuQuaine 7x

SPR - Ivy DuQuaine 7x Small family race team, from ice oval racing snowmobiles to dirt karts! Follow along for all the updates on and off the track!

Jeremy DuQuaine has been vintage ice oval racing since 2010 and has multiple awards & wins. We're a family team based out of the Shawano WI area. Our team consists of Owner/Mechanic Jeremy DuQuaine. Best pit crew ever "The Muscle" AKA Angela DuQuaine(my beautiful wife), Ivy and Vivian(daughters). New to the 2022 season was our driver of the Hydraulic Repair Specialists Champ Sled Sean Shively. Sean comes from a background of vintage racing and jumped the ranks to Pro Lite
which awarded us with 3 wins and 5 podium finishes this season. USSA Pro Lite Points Champion and a 3rd place with PVR. SPR will also be hitting the dirt this summer as we debut a Box Stock racing kart. Stay Tuned for updates!

Dad's post race results from 9/13 @ Little Buckaroo

Heat 1: P1 -> P4
Heat 2: P4 -> P3
Feature: P6 -> P6

1st time on the track in a kart we rolled off in P1... it didnt take long to lose that position but, we held on to 3rd until the last lap where we got passed. Heat 2 started in the back and made a quick pass for 3rd and stuck behind 1st & 2nd.. They weren't pulling away.
Feature we rolled out in P6 got passed for a few positions but made them back up, tried to make a move for 3rd or 4th but locked up the brakes so we didnt hit another kart and spun!
Thay put us in the back.. Dad worked his way back up to 7th where we finished but due to a DQ we finished 6th!

Goals, don't finish last and have some fun!!

We plan on racing tomorrow @ Little Buckaroo Jr Motorsports Park, next Friday 9/18(GSR), Friday 9/25(GSR) & Saturday 9/26 at the Badger 50!

Then we will see from there!

8/12/26 GSR Kartway Results

Heat 1: P5 -> P3
Heat 2: P3 -> P5
Feature: P3 -> P6

Just want to say thanks to the crew and track workers last night for the great track!

Heat 1 was decent showing some speed and finishing 3rd
Heat 2 Ivy showed tons of speed but got a little overzealous and was sent to the back where she worked back up to 5th

Feature we started 2nd row inside, great starting spot. She ran 2nd and made a nice pass for 1st but was short lived as there was a caution. She was racing hard and got caught up in a racing incident and was sent to the back where she was working her way back up but spun herself out and ended with a 6th! Thats racing!!

On a side note she turned the fastest lap of the night- 11 seconds flat
