Lighting is poor next to the bonfire at the D2R2 basecamp. But the Bluegrass Allstars are great!

Break out the fenders and rain gear, it's going to be wet. Needless to say, a little muddy? But still tons of fun! I was thinking of rebranding as D2H20. Nah, too much work. See you tomorrow! Ride safely.
Good news from the Green RIver Road, the core of the D2R2 courses. The lower half of the road had a fair amount of potholes and areas of washboard road. That section has just been regraded and smoothed over. It's much better!
With the recent pattern of rainfall, the river is higher than normal for August. It is a different and fun experience to ride the Green RIver Road with a lot of loud rapids. Small streams normally trickle down the cliffs and drain into the river. Many of those small streams are now beautiful long waterfalls. Look for these waterfalls on the left as you ride to the north during your practice runs.
We're all looking forward to the big ride day on August 18th!
