As we have done in many recent years, we showed a hype video before the final class on the last Saturday night before Labor Day. This year was no different, but the message behind the video was.

Rather than focusing only on the significance of the final class, we wanted to celebrate what makes the Celebration itself so special—and what it has meant to so many people for 88 years.

The Celebration is about much more than what happens in the ring. It is about tradition, history, the horses, the people, and a community that continues to come together year after year to keep this event alive.

Most importantly, the video was our way of saying thank you. Thank you to everyone who supported the 88th Celebration in any way—whether you were an exhibitor, sponsor, volunteer, fan, local business, community member, sponsor or simply someone who came out and enjoyed the show. Every bit of that support helped make this year's Celebration so special, and we are incredibly grateful.

We were pleased to welcome Tennessee State Senator Brent Taylor of Eads to The Celebration. Senator Taylor represents District 31 and is the Republican nominee for Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District.

A steadfast supporter of agriculture and the Tennessee Walking Horse industry, he helped secure $2.7 million in funding for renovations and expansion at the Celebration grounds this year.

World Champions Wear Pink was a huge success! Pink attire could be seen all the way around the Big Oval - way to show up and show out in support of the Bedford Cancer Foundation!

His visit highlights the important connection between Tennessee agriculture, the equine industry, and the communities they support. Important Schedule Clarification – Classes 113 and 190
When we announced the new class schedule earlier this year, we were excited to add Class 174 – Walking Mares or Geldings Specialty, World Grand Championship to the Celebration program.
In making that addition, however, we inadvertently removed Class 113 – Young Trainers 35 Years and Under on Walking Mares or Geldings as a qualifying class for Class 190 – Walking Horse Specialty, World Grand Championship.
We want to clarify that Class 113 will remain a qualifier for Class 190 in addition to Class 174.
We apologize for the oversight and any confusion this change in the published schedule may have caused. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our exhibitors, trainers, owners, and fans as we work to ensure the class schedule is accurate and provides the best possible experience for everyone participating in the Celebration.
Class 113 – Young Trainers 35 Years and Under on Walking Mares or Geldings
will qualify for:
Class 190 in addition to Class 174 – Walking Horse Specialty, World Grand Championship

Class 159 Moved to First Class on Wednesday Night
The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has announced a schedule change for Wednesday night, September 2, to help improve the flow of the evening and reduce congestion in the warm-up arena.
Class 159 – Owner-Amateur Drivers Fine Harness, World Grand Championship will now be the first class of the night on Wednesday, September 2.
The Celebration has made the decision to move Class 159 to the beginning of the evening to reduce the need to drag the track in the middle of the night and to help alleviate congestion coming through the warm-up arena.
The remainder of the Wednesday night schedule will follow in order after Class 159.
Exhibitors and spectators are encouraged to take note of this change and plan accordingly.
