Over the past several years, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to fish the beautiful lakes of northwestern Wisconsin, chasing those big Northwoods smallmouth!
One thing I’ve learned—even though we make the trip around the same time every year, the conditions and the bite are always a little different. This year, the tube, Ned rig, and Jewel P*e Wee Football Jig were the ticket and put some great smallmouth in the boat.
But as always, the best catch of the trip wasn’t measured in pounds or inches—it was the fellowship and time spent on the water with great friends.
