🐲What. An. Amazing. Debut.

Ellie had reached out to us, and we were happy to schedule a test day with the team. Quickly their pace was very apparent. It went from consistency, pace, attacking each corner one at a time when she went out. Immediately Leo (our chief mechanic) went to ask if Ellie could race with us the next day. There was a very very important family reunion, and not something we could mess with. But we wanted to see her race.

Throughout the race day, we made minor adjustments here and there, and it was great to communicate with the driver. Once qualifying hit, she put it on P3, and would drop down to P5. We once again tweaked the setup. Then she and IKM driver Parker started moving down the field bump drafting and drafting each other. The team work was just, amazing.

It took setting the fastest lap of the race, and a great pass for Ellie to secured P3 on her debut with us and in a 206 kart. Pretty sure the team lost their voice when she crossed the line, with Logan being more excited about her race finish than his.

🐲After 12 races at the Norway Motorsports Park club series, the championship is still alive and well. The track, and series has turned into a proving ground for developing our drivers as the competition has always been relentless and tough.

🥇🥇Race 11 and 12 saw a feature win for IKM instructor Logan having to come back from some adversity in race 11, and in race 12 having to hold off his title competitor Leo for the whole race. The series has forced us to pull out all stops and leave no leaf unturned to get the results we have. Impressed with the amazing job Logan has done from juggling between coach, mechanic, and competitor.

🐲What a wild and crazy week. Write up will follow soon!

Started off with welcoming the newest driver Owen to the IKM team and getting a shakedown at the Kart Circuit Autobahn. Then promptly heading to haul IKM's partner Apex Branding's T4 NC Miata to the Gratten Race way.

A stressful race week would be an understatement. We did what we could to the car, and Mooney brough it back home under the most challenging conditions. This was a champion's drive to seal with Northern Conference championship.

🐲Excited to officially announce Owen Neisel to finish his 2026 season with Ing-Kuo Motorsports and for the 2027 future.

Owen brings about the same attitude and professionalism we strive for IKM. We hold our drivers to a very high standard of conduct, just as we expect them to hold the IKM crew to the same standard. A very technically driven independent driver, which has helped translate to finding him more pace on track, along with understanding some of the tricks of why.

We are looking forward to collaborating with Owen both on track and the marketing side.

I, along with the team were excited to have Larry on board with us during the race weekend. In a very small world I raced with Larry in Spec Miata, and two of our crew members raced with Larry in rentals when they first started. It came full circle, and Larry was now racing with us as we supported him.

Larry is what we want our drivers to develop into. Throughout the weekend he was able to clearly communicate what he wanted from the car. We played around with tire pressures, what sprockets to use, slowly dialing in a setup that would work for Larry. Once we arrived there, Larry looked at our mechanics and told them to not change a thing. It would have been easy to keep chasing for a “perfect” setup. Larry wheeled his way to a very strong top 5, and I believe his personal best at the track.

Under IKM tradition, your first top 5 would join us for our sparkling water celebration, and we made sure that Larry had an extra change of clothes.
