🐾While we are finishing up details about our youth wrestling season and will be opening registration soon, we want to take this opportunity to introduce Dylan Herb as our Youth Head Coach!🐾

As a lifelong member of the Central PA wrestling community, Coach brings a wealth of experience both on and off the mat. His youth wrestling career was highlighted by multiple Central Penn Youth League championships, two Eastern National championships, and a PJW State finalist appearance. He went on to become a 4-year letterman at Shippensburg High School, where he recorded 100+ career wins and earned a state medal.

He continued his athletic career at Shippensburg University (2014–2016) before graduating with honors in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree and earning his Master’s in Education in 2021.

As a math teacher at Shippensburg High School, Coach Herb has coached high school football and wrestling, while also giving back through youth soccer, T-ball, and youth wrestling.

Most importantly, he is passionate about helping young athletes develop confidence, discipline, toughness, and a love for wrestling.

Outside of coaching, Coach is married to his wife, Keri, and they have three children: Blair (7), Colson (4), and Mallory (2).

MaKenzie Atherton made her duals debut yesterday and went 5-1 to help the Bubbletown team earn 4th place! Way to go Kenzie!

We couldn’t be more proud of this group of wrestlers. We took first place in our pool, and ended up fourth place overall. This was a tough tournament with a lot of tough competition.

While the majority of the 20 weight classes were Boiling Springs wrestlers, we couldn’t have done it without the help of our friendly neighbors. We appreciate the help from Northern, Bermudian Springs, CD East, Shippensburg, Cedar Crest, Big Spring, and PA Savage Wrestling Academy for helping us fill out our roster.

We also had two wrestlers on other teams. Congratulations to Megan Wagner and her Central Pennies team for placing second in the Club division and also to Bryn Evans and her PA Savage Wrestling Academy team for competing in the Elite division.

Awesome job girls, you all wrestled at a high level today!
