Come Be Part of Our Herd! ❤️
At Reins of Rhythm, our volunteers are truly the hands and heart behind the horses and the people they serve. And if you love horses, there may be no better way to spend a few hours each week than caring for the herd that makes our work possible!
We’re currently looking for dependable Chores & Horse Care Volunteers who can commit to 1–2 afternoon/evening shifts each week. Including 1 weekend afternoon shift per month.
Note: we welcome couples or friends who wish to work side by side together in the shift. This can be an enjoyable weekly time of helping make a difference side-by-side.
Location: Fayetteville PA
You don’t have to be an expert horseperson. Whether you’ve spent years around horses or you’re simply someone who loves them and is eager to learn, we’d love to meet you!🐎
As a Horse Care Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
✨ Spend meaningful time with our horses
✨ Help with feeding, caring, cleaning, and daily horse care tasks
✨ Learn more about safe and compassionate horsemanship
✨ Build relationships with our herd and become part of their care team
✨ Help keep our horses healthy, happy, and ready to do the important work they do with our participants.
✨ Experience the joy of knowing that your time and hands directly support healing, connection, confidence, and belonging for kids of all ages and abilities.
Our horses give so much to the children, teens, seniors, and families who come through our gates. They need people who are willing to give back to them and help continue the mission.❤️
Volunteers receive training and support so they can feel comfortable and confident in their roles. We have opportunities for people with a variety of skills and interests, including:
🐴 Chores & Horse Care
🌿 Facility & Property Upkeep
🔨 Maintenance & Special Projects and community outreach events
Horse Care volunteers should be able to commit to a regular 2-hour afternoon/evening shift at least once a week and one weekend shift per month. Days and times will be based on the current needs of the program.
No horse experience? That’s okay!A willingness to learn, reliability, and a heart for horses and a desire to ensure they are well cared for are a great place to start.
Volunteers must be 17 or older and must be reliable as our horse herd will depend on you.
