As a trainer, one thing that always makes me sad is consulting with so many moms who feel that committing time to their own fitness goals is selfish. I remind them every time that you are no good to anyone else if you allow yourself to fall apart. That prioritizing your health and wellness is paramount and critical to being your best self. In the process of loving yourself first, you are now able to be the best woman, mother and wife to your family. PSA ladies, take time to give yourself some love. Get that pedicure, go take that fitness class, go to lunch with your friends. Take time to work on yourself! 2 years ago, i was going through some stuff and i decided that i wanted this tattoo as a daily reminder to myself to love myself first because its easy to get caught up in pleasing others at our own expense.
