What if I told you that if you’re practicing, you can never fail?

Having tough days at practice doesn’t mean you failed or you’re a failure.

When you’re working hard at something m, you are going to have both ups AND downs -it’s normal!

The downs don’t mean you FAILED. It just doesn’t.

The only way to fail is to never try.

The only way to fail is by NOT putting in the effort and time into your craft.

You’ll never have a “bad practice”. There is no such thing because if you’re practicing, you’re growing.

Practicing means you are working toward IMPROVING.

You’ll always have ups and downs inside of the practice, but truly, you can never fail.

Reframe your thoughts.
Reframe your mind.

Understand that every time you invest into pitching, you are growing inside AND out.

!! I can’t stress this enough! Location, location, location!

So many young pitchers and parents think it's about throwing as many different KINDS of pitches as they possibly can.

It's not about that....ask any college pitcher or college coach, it's about throwing 3 pitches very well, then having a couple others that serve as SUPPORTING actors. Pitching is not about how many pitches you can list off that you can throw- that's at any age, at any level.

Devote time to pitches you do really well and perfect them. 2 great pitches is far better than 5 okay pitches.

You can even be successful with just 1 pitch. It’s more about where you place the ball and your confidence in what you have.

Hi everyone! I wanted to spend this first post introducing myself. My name is Caroline Settle, Coach Carol, Coach Caroline, etc. I graduated from Many High School in 2016 and McNeese State University in 2020. I am now living in the Shreveport area. I have pitched for about 15 years and I absolutely love everything about pitching. I have been blessed to have experienced many different situations in my years of playing and I am so excited to get to share my knowledge to the next generation of the game.
