2026 BAYOU DIRT LIFE POINTS PROCEDURES

-Drivers accumulate points ONLY in the Feature Race!
(30 points for 1st, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on, dropping by 1 point for each position.)

-Every Feature Race run across the five regional tracks will count for points. (Texarkana 67 Speedway, Ark-La-Tex Speedway, Boothill Speedway, Sabine Speedway, Super Bee Speedway)
A Qualifier events or any preliminary feature that does not pay will NOT count for points.

-Classes in our program this year are B-Mods, Limited Mods, Factory Stocks, Sportsters & Tuners.

-Split field events where the feature lineups are tiered based on qualifying rather than staggered and/or randomized will NOT count as separate features. The 2nd tier feature will be calculated as an extension of the 1st tier feature and the rundown will start from where the results left off.

-Eligibility restricted races (such as All Star Races, Invitationals, and Non-Qualifier events) do not count for points. Every racer must be eligible to compete for the event to count toward points.

-Every driver checked in with the intent to compete will be awarded (5) show up points. Drivers who do not qualify or fail to start the Feature will receive the minimum (5) show up points. It takes 2 cars to have a race! If only one car takes the green flag, it will not be scored as a win, but the driver will receive (5) show up points.

-If the races are canceled before the feature, all drivers who are on the property at the time of the cancellation will receive (5) show up points. If you are not drawn in on MyRacePass, you will have to notify us directly to receive your points. If a feature race is canceled and the track awards points and payout based upon the feature lineup, Bayou Dirt Life will not consider it a race. All drivers will receive (5) show up points.

-Drivers who are disqualified through post-race technical inspection for any reason, or are black flagged will lose all points for the event. Black flags for flat tires, fuel leaks or any other hazardous condition will not affect the driver's ability to accumulate full points. Drivers who are disqualified retroactively will NOT lose points for the event. We trust that suspensions and fines carried out by the track should resolve further violations.

-Track score sheets are official, regardless of video, streaming, or live timing. This is not Football, so there is no replay or challenge flag. Once results are posted to MyRacePass, Bayou Dirt Life considers them official and final. If there is an error, you must reach out to the track and the track must directly notify us of the error in order for a change to be made in the points standings.

TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES
The tie-breaking format will consist of the following in descending order.
1. Feature Race Wins
2. Average Finish
3. Head-to-Head Average Finish
4. Heat Race Wins
5. Fast Time Awards
6. Pole Awards
7. Last Race Head-to-Head Result

Bayou Dirt Life 2026 Plan

Points will be calculated for all events at the following tracks featuring the following classes.

Tracks:
-67 Speedway of Texarkana
-Ark-La-Tex Speedway
-Boothill Speedway
-Super Bee Speedway
-Sabine Speedway

Classes:
-B-Mods
-Limited Mods
-Factory Stocks
-Sportsters
-Tuners
(Texarkana’s Limited/B-Mod class will count for both classes.)

The tentative goal will be to award the Top 10 in each class at the end of the year! We are currently brainstorming all options to generate funding in order to make this happen! We likely won’t be selling merchandise trackside quite as often this year. Sponsors are always needed and appreciated!

We have made the decision to no longer include racetracks outside of the “Ark-La-Tex” area due to lack of interest and communication. Please know that WE TRIED! Coincidentally, because of this change and a few other racetrack management decisions, Crate Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Pro Mods will all be disbanded from our program as they each compete regularly at only one area race track in 2026. We are also doing away with the geographic divisional system that we had last year. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this is the natural course going forward for Bayou Dirt Life and racing in our community!
