Aquatic Survival skills for Children 6 Months to 6 years of age. All ages learn to roll on their backs and float. Children 12 mos+ learn to swim.
ISR (infant swimming resource) is a course for children 6 months-5 years of age that teaches them how to swim and survive in the water.

Did you know that drowning is the leading cause of death between the ages of 1-4? That’s why our #1 priority is to get our students safe in and around water! Here’s another story of how our students are using their skills!
Ryker (2 years old) was playing on the side of the swimming pool and leaning in to try and get a toy. All while all adults were close to him and all eyes on him. When he fell in, he went straight down and immediately rolled and floated to his back and stayed there for a couple seconds. It was hard not to freak out because ya know, your kid fell in you want to immediately grab them. But also the mom in me knew he knew what to do. And it’s because of Mrs.Emma and ISR. I am a full water safety mom and will preach it to anyone who will listen!

Another student ready to be safe at the pool!
💦 As May marks Water Safety Month, we'd like to share stories from parents who have witnessed their children's ISR skills in action. 🫧
Vincent fell in a pool while we were out at a friend’s lake house when he was just shy of 2 years old. It was when Allen was a baby—I remember I was holding Allen and talking to someone and Vince was right by my feet. Then all of a sudden I looked down and he wasn’t there. I was just a few steps from the pool. I put Allen down and by the time I got over to Vince he was just calmly floating there by the steps, fully-clothed, shoes on, just waiting for someone to come pick him up out of the water.
