Brock is one of the Flyers’ wide receivers. He’s been playing football since he was just 4 years old. When he’s not making plays on the field, he enjoys spending his time hunting.

The Flyer Varsity Volleyball team resumed its push to stay in the Top 8 in Division IV with a 3-0 win over Providence Classical Academy. Varsity improves to 14-6, winning its last 3 matches and remains undefeated at home. They are poised to retain their #6 ranking another day in the Division. Varsity hits the road next week and will play Parkway (10/19) and Calvary Baptist (10/20).

As the Freshman Flyers season winds down, they beat PCA 2-0 and finish their last home game with a WIN! Only 2 more away games remain on Monday/Tuesday next week.

Senior Spotlight: Emma Moore🏐

Emma has played volleyball for four years and is a Libero! Emma will be remembered by her teammates for her dedication and hard work.

Emma plans on attending Louisiana Tech next fall and major in Interior Design🎓.

🏈 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Ja’Caiveon Taylor!⚡

JT is starting his third year of LCP football as a running back! His favorite LCP football memory is when they played against North DeSoto and the crowd was loud for them.

His pre-game ritual is to read the Bible and listen to church music.

JT plans to go to Southern University and major in engineering! An opinion he’ll get flamed for is believing it’s the Cowboys' year this season and he can also play the bongos!

Homecoming Update!

Despite our best efforts to find another opponent for this year’s Homecoming game, we ultimately came up short. As a result, the Flyers will have a bye week on Friday, October 16.

While we won’t be taking the field that night, Homecoming Week will continue as planned, with our themed dress days, pep rally, student activities, and other Homecoming traditions.

The Homecoming Court presentation will be moved to our Friday, October 23, home game, where we will proudly recognize this year’s court and celebrate our students and Flyer Family together.

With the change in the game schedule, the Alumni Homecoming Tailgate scheduled for October 16 has been canceled. However, if you are planning an alumni reunion or class tour on Saturday, October 17, those plans can still move forward as scheduled. Reunion groups are welcome to continue with their planned activities and tours of campus.

We know this is not the Homecoming game experience we had hoped for, and we appreciate our Flyer Family’s understanding and continued support. We look forward to celebrating Homecoming throughout the week and bringing everyone together for the October 23 home game.
