Smithwick Devil Horses I custom painted for a customer ! Top one is original and bottom ones I painted to match ! When Pradco bought out Smithwick, they discontinued a lot of colors . So if you still like a color and can’t find it - I do custom paint jobs for people all the time ! I also have a lot of Smithwick Devil Horse wooden blanks before they switched to plastic that I can use

Jack A had gotten his MBA from LSU and worked as a geologist for Humble Oil Co and his father convinced him to join the family business . This is an advertisement in “Fishing Facts and Secrets” magazine in 1969 with a picture of young Jack A advertising the Devils Horse. One of the only pics we have of him when he was young
