Nawasa and Greg led us on a great tour to Arcadia via the Bonnie and Clyde ambush monument and the Bryceland Mall. We managed to avoid the ambush at the monument but the ladies were not able to go shopping because we did not get to the mall before it closed.

We had a really nice ride through the piney hills of east Texas in August led by Lee and Jena Coltharp. Our September ride will depart Saturday the 22th at 9:00 AM from the Brookshire,s parking lot at the intersection of Barksdale Blvd. and Jimmy Davis Highway in Bossier. We will be led by Greg and Nawasa Fletcher through the back roads of North Louisiana so come join us for a great ride.

Our tour for August will be led by Lee and Jena Coltharp to brunch at the Pinto Pony in San Augustine, Tx. We will meet at the Cheveron station on the corner of Walker Rd. and Bert Kouns in time to meet and greet before leaving at 7:30 AM. Drop the top on your Miata and join us for a fun ride through the piny woods of East Texas.

We had a great ride to Simsboro for supper Saturday. Three new owners joined us for the trip Gary Bailes, Phyllis and David Copp, and Lee and Jena Coltharp. Pat and Greg were not able to go. Pat for medical reasons and Greg,s Miata is in the shop getting hail damage repaired. It was to hot for the tops to be down going but everyone put the tops down for the after dark ride home. We had a safe trip but on the way home we came upon a deer standing in the road. He stood there for a while then just slowly walked off the road and stood on the sholder. I guess he thought Miatas were not big enough to be scared of.

Some one said he needed to take a potty break, so we stopped where there was plenty to choose from.

Come join us on a tour to Simsboro for supper at JR's resturant. We will meet at the Valero station on the corner of Jimmy Davis highway and Barksdale Blvd Saturday July 28 and be ready to depart at 5:30 PM. It will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes travel time.

We had a great weekend trip to Eureka Springs. Had a good time meeting new friends and riding the scenin byways of Arkansas.

Four Miatas snaked through the crooks, hills, and valleys of scenic North Lousiana to Port au Prince resturant for an excelent catfish dinner.

Drive your Miata with us Saturday May, 26 to the Port-O-Prince resturant on beautiful Lake Claiborne. We will meet at the Raceway gas station at US 80 and I220 in Bossier City at 5:00PM and leave for the resturant about 5:15PM.
