It was a privilege to attend Northwoods' annual coaches' meeting at Chasing Aces, finding the session informative and uplifting while uniting everyone for the common goal of supporting children. I am eager for the upcoming sports year.

The Caddo Parish Schools annual job fair took place with the Athletic Department participating for the first time with its own table. Special recognition went to Coach Taylor of Summer Grove and Coach Carscadden of Fairfield Magnet for showcasing the district's physical education programs. Many individuals expressed interest in coaching positions at elementary, middle, and high school levels, demonstrating a promising pool of candidates.

Our certified orthopedic physicians, physical therapists and athletic trainers will be available to help ensure athletes are prepared for the season. Kendrick Law drafted by Lions in 5th round The Detroit Lions selected Kendrick Law with the 28th pick in the 5th round, 168th overall, in the 2026 NFL Draft.

It was an honor to be invited back to Centenary College of Louisiana and tell my story about their master’s program. If you are interested in going into leadership, I wouldn't hesitate to start your journey now.

We extend our congratulations to Coach Jeffrey Trent, the newly appointed Head Boys Basketball Coach at Southwood High School, who outlined his vision for the Boys Basketball program and Cowboy athletics' future. Let's continue to support Coach Trent and his team both on and off the court.
