The Social Quarters will be closed today as we observe Labor Day.

Today, board members from Sidney Moose Lodge presented Tommy Moose dolls to our local Sheriff’s Office, Sidney Police Department, Sidney Fire Department, and CASA.

The Tommy Moose program, sponsored by Moose International, provides soft, cuddly moose dolls that first responders and child advocates can give to children during frightening or stressful situations. These dolls offer a little comfort and reassurance when kids need it most.

We’re grateful for the people who serve and protect our community every day, and we’re proud to help them bring comfort to local children.

Mooseheart is a residential community and school that gives children in need a safe home, a quality education, emotional support, and practical life skills.

Our lodge donates because every child deserves stability, encouragement, and the chance to build a bright future. By supporting Mooseheart, we’re helping provide more than basic care. We’re helping kids gain confidence, find a sense of belonging, and prepare for life as independent adults.

A qualified guest is defined as any prospective member that is accompanied by a member who can sponsor them for membership in The Moose, with the exception listed as a spouse or immediate family member under the age of 21.

Please note: Moose International considers a guest a “prospective member.” Guests may enter the Lodge for the purpose of deciding whether they want to join or not. Guests have ONLY 2 VISITS to make that decision.
