Rhys with a great roll on Siesta Key Beach during a low tide. This point is especially hard to nail, there's standing water straight ahead, so cannot go staight at the pallino, so it's a must to roll high off the slight pitch on the shoreline. The momentum off that pitch towards the pallino is the tough part because will roll right past pallino. The shot, for a right handed player, is to put side spin (left) into the slope. You must add more power to the roll due to the influence of spin kills distance. Just a straightforward finger roll to nail this shot without spin into the slope out of hand is doable but has to be perfect. The odds of getting the bocce ball to stop at or near the pallino go WAY up with left spin out of hand and at this distance is definitely challenging
