I'm ordering two styles of big square and round bale nets monday. They are slow feed and minimize waste. I've been using these for many many years and they sure save a lot of money and a lot of cleanup!

Summer is more highly trained than all the lesson horses so she is a challenge for my students. If their leg pressure isn't perfectly even she starts half passing, if they pull back with a few too many ounces of pressure to rate her speed she will stop, if they cue just a little too much for speed she will trot instead of gait.

After many months of lameness, Gypsy made her debut in lessons again. I am praying that she stays sound! She has been lame multiple times and the majority of the time the past few years. 😥 She enjoys the attention and being ridden.

Great weekend for lessons! I have been very careful with my lesson horses and giving them lots of vacation time during the super hot weather we have seen this summer.
