☀️ SSFC Heat Guidelines Update ☀️
As we move into September, we will still have hot weather in the forecast!

Siloam Springs Futbol Club operates under Category 3 US Soccer Heat Safety Guidelines. We monitor the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) directly at the fields before and during all activities:
• WBGT 92°F+ | 🚫 Practices Cancelled or Pushed Back
• WBGT 90–91°F | ⏱️ Max 1-hour practice (4-min break every 15 min)
• WBGT 87–89°F | ⏱️ Max 2-hour practice (4-min break every 15 min OR 10-min break every 30 min)

Parent & Coach Reminders:
• Send players with plenty of cold water.
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
• Safety always overrides scheduling—coaches will adjust or stop sessions immediately if conditions deteriorate.

The SSFC U9 Girls kicked off their Academy season yesterday in Fort Smith with a win! Way to go ladies! 🙌🏻
