Historic Gypsy Camp loves the Illinois River and has been sharing its beauty for over 100 years. It is truly a gem and we are honored to be the caretakers for the last 8 years.

Kids Camp coming up! This will be a first class whitewater camp if you have a kid that is interested in whitewater!

WOKA is excited to partner with the ACA to host this years national youth Slalom Camp: good for all paddling levels!

Want to get your kid interested in kayaking?? Here is your chance! In these Kid Kayak programs, youth will learn basic kayak skills, such as how to paddle, turn, and stop and how to re-board after falling out of a kayak. We will be using youth model kayaks, which will be provided. Life jackets will be required to be worn at all times and are provided. A parent or guardian must stay on site during the program.

Reminder we don't float during lightning or high water, but we will paddle in the rain. Also, the Illinois River has missed most of the rains lately and river levels are in great shape!

We are here and ready 7 days/week all summer long! We run shuttles from 9am to 2pm on the weekends and 9am to 1pm through the week.
