This month, we joined friends all around the world to celebrate International Youth Day on August 12th, with the theme: "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations."

What a great reason to celebrate creativity, curiosity, courage and potential of young people everywhere.

At the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, we believe every young person deserves opportunities to learn, lead, discover their passions and build a brighter future.

From the classroom to the pool, the playing field to the community, we’re proud to create spaces where young people can belong, grow and thrive.
