I almost didn't post this.
Not because I didn't have something to say…but because that little voice in my head started doing what it does best: questioning everything.
The truth is, I'm still figuring it out. I'm learning that showing up as my imperfect, slightly awkward, goofy self is a whole lot better than pretending I've got it all together.

For the longest time, I thought I just didn't have enough .
But learning that our brains are wired to keep us safe - not to help us lose weight or build new habits - changed everything for me.
It made me realize I'm not fighting a lack of discipline... I'm working against a brain that loves what's familiar.
That one mindset shift has helped me stop blaming myself and start working with my brain instead of against it.
Anyone else ever have an a-ha moment that completely changed the way you see yourself?

I can't be the only one who feels this way.
Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but some moments are meant to be experienced—not turned into content. For me, there's one part of yoga class that should always prioritize the student's sense of safety over getting the perfect photo.

Welcome, July! ☀️
Summer is full of vacations, cookouts, long evenings, and spontaneous adventures…Take time for these things and enjoy every minute. You deserve it!
But here's one thing I encourage you not to take a vacation from: your yoga practice. 🧘♀️
Your mat is where you connect with yourself. It's where you build strength, improve mobility, calm your nervous system, and create the resilience that helps you enjoy everything else summer has to offer.
You don't have to practice every day.
You don't have to practice perfectly.
Just stay consistent.
Even one class each week can help you maintain the progress you've worked so hard to build.
So this July...
🌿 Make the memories.
🌿 Take the trips.
🌿 Soak up the sunshine.
But don't forget to come home to your mat. 🙏
