WHAT A CRAZY DAY OF FIGHTS💯
Yesterday we made the trip down to Bellevue Nebraska for the Victory Boxing Club & Community Center event. Though it wasn’t necessarily “our night” we were able to have good laughs and enjoy boxing with our Familia. I’m gonna take a quick second to compliment not only the venue, but yall know how much I like event food………IT WAS ON POINT‼️
Here’s how the fights went:
Stretch kicks off the event going toe to toe with his opponent, holding down the center of the ring pushing the pace forward and landing clean. However we came short on the score cards.
Sam stepped up next for his first fight, Sam I swear was the king with his fundamentals, tying his combos together, footwork etc. However we came up short.
Big Chino was third on deck and holy freaking smokes he did excellent. You wanna talk about great boxing this kid was in and out landing clean, holding down the center of the ring pushing the pace forward somehow we came up short on the cards. This kid made me so proud how he handled his first loss, while multiple people came up to him and told him how they seen the fight. He stayed respectful, and kept his composure.
Mikey hit the deck, this match was extremely special to me. Mikey has been my Brother for like a million years and is a true OG. Mikey showcased his talent landing combos like crazy keeping the fight forward, I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again he is the best kept secret in the heavy weight division💯he secured his victory.
Big Country then took the ring, Country walked his opponent down all three rounds. He was committed to getting another referee stoppage, though we came short on the cards Big Country remains Big Country smiling ear to ear, addressing people as Sir and Maam, holding doors open for women and the elderly.
Last but certainly not least Big Bruno takes the ring for his second fight stepping up against one of our homies from 605, Bruno held it down like a boss. The way he fought you would’ve thought it was his 15th fight. This lil dude absolutely BROUGHT IT. The crowd was going wild, pushing the pace, never slowing down, straight punches, head movement, footwork, unfortunately he didn’t get his hand raised but he kept his head held high.
Sometimes when it comes to events, we have our good days and our bad days. Just as we can’t control the weather we can’t control the outcome OUR FAMILIA remains OUR FAMILIA. We are gracious in victory as we are in defeat.
WIN - LOSE - DRAW…
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CHANGES
GIVE IT 5MINS BECAUSE WE ARE ONTO THE NEXT SHOW💯TEAM LOBOS STAYS PROUD🫡
As always thankyou to the volunteers from USA Boxing for making these events possible. No one truly knows how much hard work gets put into these events.
