The last few weeks have been eventful for the program, with many accolades earned by the guys! Here are some of the highlights:

Evan Fuchs was named the Human Performance major's Student of the Year.

Dante Rigal won "Male Best Game of the Year"

Tyden Schultz was named the program's "Newcomer of the Year"

Jeremiah Bethel was named the program's "Most Improved"

Charles Witas was name the program's "Charger Award"

Jarrod Gilliam & Dante Rigal were named "Co-MVP"

Coach Watson Placed 7th @ the US Open

Coach West doubled up at the US Open and won matches in both Freestyle and Greco in the Senior Division!

Coach Watts Placed 3rd @ the US Open and landed his birthday gainer today!

We are excited to announce our latest commit to the Briar Cliff Wrestling program for the 2026-2027 season, Andrew Gomez out of Porterville High School in Porterville, CA! He is planning to major in Business Administration and is projected to compete at the 133pound weight class! He is the son of Andres and Maria Gomez. Here are a few accomplishments from his high school career:

He is planning to major in Education and is projected to compete at the 149 pound weight class! He is the son of Krista and Derek McGahan. Here are a few accomplishments from his high school career:
