Just get the damn haircut. Wear what you want, and be happy. Im so excited I finally got a haircut!✂️
Everyone will weigh in on your decisions if you keep asking them-including the simple things. I hate when people say, “I can’t wear that,” “I’ve always had my hair like this” “what would people think?” Sometimes that voice is our own inner critic.
WHO CARES. You get one life, ONE. If you’re lucky, you get to live a long one❤️
Some of my friends who come to class were intimidated at first. The dances are bold, challenging, and I’m a little crazy! But after awhile, they started to enjoy themselves and have some fun!
So silence the thoughts of others and your own inner critic and get out there and do something today that makes you think “wow, I can’t believe I did that!”❤️💃

Tuesday. We’ve got a return date nailed down and a new start time! We’ll start back Monday, September 21 at 5:30!
We’re going to move the time up a bit🙌 and we’ll finish class around 6:20❤️
Change is good, right? It’s also inevitable. If you look at your life a year ago, two years ago, three years ago how was it different? How it is the same?
Take a look in the mirror. What changes do you notice? I’ve heard people say, “your reflection is the direct choices of your diet.” Not exactly true friends. All of us have some things that we can’t control-hormones, genetics, etc. but we can fight back in the areas we’re not so happy with!
Which is why I’m introducing Pilates and yoga to the second half of our class this fall❤️ your core is the base of every exercise, and we’re going to work to make it stronger! I have been studying Pilates all summer to understand the movements and the breath that accompany each movement!
I’m excited to share with you what I’ve been working on! Enjoy your day today!

Monday. A new week, new goals!
What’s your big goal this week? A big goal is something you hope to achieve over the next 7 days.
What’s your small goal this week? This is what you’re going to do daily to make it happen.
Every week should start with big and small goals so you can stay on track!
My big goal this week is to go from 30 lb weights to 35!
My small goal this week is to track all of my meals in my app so I know ho many nutrients, protein, and fiber I’m getting🙌💪 enjoy your Monday, friends!❤️

Sunday. The last two days have been a workout let me tell you, hahahahaha! All good though, that’s why I lift weights!
I was tasked with putting together the tv stand, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a complex set up with minimal instructions!
Sometimes that’s how we feel when we go to the gym, we don’t know how to use the machines so we just keep using the ones we know (aka working the same muscle groups).
Or we modify because it’s comfortable because that’s what we’ve always done. You have to be the one to push yourself out of your comfort zone. You have all the skills you need to do anything you want to.
Enjoy your Sunday!❤️

Saturday. for this busy mom it’s moving day 2! Lots of stuff to do!
Brett’s at a golf tourney with his brother and I hope they’re having the best time but my son, Keegan; my mom and I are hauling boxes this morning to help El move.
You’ve never tested your strength until you have you mom (74) and daughter almost 20, on the end of a couch loading it into a Uhaul. These are the memories I will cherish friends, you can recreate pictures but the memories are never the same❤️
I hope you do something that lifts you up today. I hope you look at the world from a lens of gratefulness because I am grateful my mom is still here to help me, and help my kiddos.

Friday! What does that mean?! Lots of planning ahead! I’m moving Ellie this weekend, again. It’s bittersweet, for me. I love having her home but I know she needs to spread her wings and get back to what she does best, being independent. 💃
What does this have to do with working out? Life throws curveballs friends, hard ones. Some are gut-wrenching, and some are bittersweet. I know I’ll try to soothe my feelings of missing her by eating because that’s what I do.
But not this time, this time I need to plan ahead and make sure I have what I need in stock! Staying on track is 90% of the challenge, friends!
That doesn’t mean we won’t indulge in a sweet treat, or a piece of pizza it means we only get some and not the whole thing.
Life will always throw you curve balls, it’s life. You have to adjust, or life can swallow you up and take away what you’ve worked so hard for ❤️ I’m here for you to lean on in the hard days, or your best days, or the in-between because that’s what I do and what all of you do for me too!
I hope you get the chance today to breathe a little, workout a little, and start your weekend off right!

Is this you?! Who can’t wait to get back to the Warehouse?! I miss my tribe! I promise we’ll be back, we just need to enjoy the rest of summer first!
I did not have grilled chicken, cottage cheese, and grapes yesterday what I did have was Mac and cheese bites from a food truck at volleyball. I did not have the Mac and cheese burger that I so desperately wanted. Life happens, reroute, change direction, but don’t quit.
Here’s the real deal, you can get upset about one meal, or get over it and plan for the next one. What are you eating today?

I always smile at the end of my workout. Why? Because it’s done!✅ check it off the list, it’s one less thing that I have to worry about for the rest of the day!🙌❤️ the same can happen with food. It becomes automatic if you already know what you’re eating (for most of us this is the challenge)! But I am dedicating my next 30 days to planning my meals, and you can too! Remember, keep it simple!
Breakfast: protein shake (plant based, dairy free) 30 minutes after waking up and within 30 minutes of my workout.
Snack: banana
Lunch: lean cuisine chicken Alfredo (I always add more chicken)!
Salad with carrots, cucumber, tomato, and ranch (1 tablespoon)
Dinner: chicken breast with wing sauce
1/2 cup cottage cheese
Grapes or cantaloupe
Don’t over think it friends, just stay one day ahead!

Tuesday! Hopefully a little break from the heat! Let’s bring that heat into our workouts today!
